This Week's Tasting: April 2, 2018

Every week at Dairymaids we select six cheeses to include in our free cheese tasting. Whenever we are open, we are tasting cheese. We stock over 150!

Carmody is a smooth, buttery jersey cow's milk cheese from the Bellwether Farms in Sonoma County, California. Mild and tart, Carmody is a great crowd pleaser.

Here's what you'll find in the bag:

Green Hill, an American camembert-style made with jersey cow's milk at the Sweet Grass Dairy in Georgia.

Latte da Gouda, a goat's milk gouda-style from the Latte da Dairy in Flower Mound, Texas.

Ossau-Iraty, a raw sheep's milk washed-rind made on both the French and Spanish sides Pyrenees Mountains.

Pleasant Ridge Reserve, an award-winning, raw cow's milk alpine-style from Uplands Cheese in WIsconsin.

Moolicious Blue, a raw, natural-rinded, cow's milk blue from Bleating Heart in California.

Our wine of the week is  the Les Copains Rosé from McPherson Cellars in Lubbock, Texas. We taste wine from 10am to 2pm on Saturdays.

Our pairing of the week is Creamed Honey from Big Creek Farms in Shepherd, Texas.
