This Week's Tasting: July 10, 2018

Every week at Dairymaids we select six cheeses to include in our free cheese tasting.
Whenever we are open, we are tasting cheese.
We stock over 150!

Kirkham's Lancashire is the last raw cow's milk, farmhouse Lancashire-style cheese still made in the United Kingdom. Made by Graham Kirkham, the cheese has a buttery crumble with a bright, layered flavor and is made from only the highest quality milk.

Also on our tasting plate this week:

Green Hill, a cow's milk camembert-style from the Sweet Grass Dairy in Georgia.

Pantaleo, an aged goat's milk cheese from Latteria Sociale Santadi in Italy.

Main Street Jack, a raw cow's milk jack-style from Revelations Artisan Cheese in Meridian, Texas.

San Andreas, a raw, aged sheep's milk from the Bellwether Farms in California.

Buttermilk Blue, a raw cow's milk, rindless blue from Roth Kase in Wisconsin.

Our wine of the week is a Sauvignon Blanc from Geisen in Marlborough, New Zealand. We taste wine from 10am to 2pm on Saturdays.

Our pairing of the week is Rhubarb Marmalade from American Spoon in Michigan.
