This Week's Tasting: March 27, 2018

Every week at Dairymaids we select six cheeses to include in our free cheese tasting. Whenever we are open, we are tasting cheese. We stock over 150!

We'll be sampling cheeses from our easter bag all week. Place an order for pick up any time during the week online or over the phone - or just stop by and grab one!

Here's what you'll find in the bag:

Marinated Goat and Sheep Milk Cheese, a fresh, farmstead goat and sheep's milk cheese marinated in garlic and herbs from the Meredith Dairy in Australia.

Little Hosmer, a brie-style, cow's milk cheese from the Cellars at Jasper Hill in Vermont.

Manos de Dios, a tomme style, raw cow's milk cheese rubbed in pimenton from Revelations Artisan Cheese in Meridian, Texas.

St. Malachi Reserve, an alpine-style, raw cow's milk cheese from the Farm at Doe Run in Pennsylvania.

Glacier Blue, a natural-rinded, raw cow's milk blue which is cave-aged at the Cascadia Creamery, Washington.

Our wine of the week is a Prosecco from Fantinel in Friuli-Venezia Guilia, Italy. It is dry and velvety with hints of golden apple. We taste wine from 10am to 2pm on Saturdays.

Our pairing of the week is a Fig and Almond Cake from Spain.
