Product Description
Cheesemaker Amelia Sweethardt was preceded at Pure Luck by her late mother, Sara. Story has it that Sara named Del Cielo after a favorite Joe Ely song, “Gallo del Cielo,” which she was listening to during a late night of cheese production. Del Cielo is a palm-sized round with a bloomy-rind, about half the height of a Camembert. Its stark white interior ripens quickly to a delectable ooze.
